BEAUTIFUL  AMPARA....

                        

💦My village is AMPARA . The district belongs to the Eastern province of AMPARA . My village is a beautiful town . Full of beautiful Trees , Temple sanctuaries , rivers , lakes , paddy fields . 😘

                                          

                                                       

💫DEEGWAPIYA.

First of all , my village Ampara is a historical city . Special mention should be made about DEEGWAPIYA . Deegwapiya is a very auspicious land 🙏where the Laud Buddha visited . It is a great fortune that we have received . Then kind Saddhathissa built Deegwapiya chithya . Many people come to worship the Deegwapiya .

💧BUDDHANGALA 

         💦 Buddhangala monastery is the oldest monastery in Sri Lanka . Buddhangala is located on a hill above 500 feet . This sacred site is located in the middle of a beautiful park . The remains of the Saryut and Mugalan leaders of the chaitya are buried in this monastery . In the chaitya are buried In this monastery. In 1964 the hermit monk Nava Dhammananda visited this ruined monastery . Since then Buddhangala monerstary became a temple . This is also the most Charitable place in the city of Ampara .

    💦 There are many historical places in my village . The rivers and lakes of my village are over following with dams .

                                💦 And the largest lake in Sri Lanka is also located in my village . That is the Iginiyagala lake . It is a huge work built by the First prime minister of Sri Lanka , Mr. D.S. Senanayake under the Galloya Development  campaign . The entire Ampara is supplied with water from this Iginiyagala lake .   

                                             

                             

                       

💦The most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka belong to our Eastern Province. From the coast of Trincomalee to Pasikuda , Batticaloa , kalmunai , Arugam bay and Panama . the beaches that have attracted tourists are also located in my village .

                💦 My village is also full of rice . My village is a city full of rice paddies . My village Ampara supplies rice to the whole country . I am very proud of it . My village Ampara consists of such historical places and beautiful places . I am very proud of my village .
